I rarely write reviews thus the delay in writing this one, but I feel compelled to do so regarding the excellent service I received by Crystal Bannar during my search for a retirement home. I have had experiences with other Realtors in the past, but none exceeded my expectations as Crystal did. First, she really listened to what key criteria I wanted in a place and then provided properties meeting that criteria to view. That’s rare, as some Realtors will push properties for a quick sale knowing that it doesn’t meet those basic needs. Second, if anything was not listed as advertised, she provided me honest feedback even if contrary to making a sale. I can’t tell you how much that honesty and trust meant to me in her looking out for my best interest. Third, it was long an exhaustive search process for both of us with intermediate delays due to personal circumstances on my part to search, but I never felt abandoned. Her understanding and sincere appreciation for my situation is something I will never forget and treasure. Last, her warm and patient demeanor allowed me to consider her a friend towards the end after our business concluded. Again, something you don’t always find in today’s business environment. In 2013 we finally decided to sell our home in St Petersburg and used Crystal's expertise to help us decide on the extent we needed to upgrade our home before putting it on the market. She not only provided an excellent market evaluation but, through her thorough preparation, made it obvious that she was the best person to represent us when we finally decided to sell. We actually listed our property in 2014 at which time Crystal provided an updated market assessment along with a complete listing package. She was creative in developing the listing although the home sold so fast that the full marketing effort was not exercised. As the negotiations and deal finalization went forward Crystal consistently demonstrated that she had our best financial, legal and relocation concerns fully considered. I have been buying homes and rental properties along the East coast for more than 35 years and recently purchased a foreclosure property through Crystal in St. Pete Beach Florida. She is without a doubt the most knowledgeable, concerned, hard-working and service oriented professional I have encountered in the real estate industry. She patiently sent me over 70 links within my parameters to view and then showed me 10 properties. On another trip she showed my wife and I another 7 properties. We then submitted multiple offers and she helped me through the negotiations with a very difficult bank seller and dealing with a challenging financing environment. She helped me find many contractors such as a home inspector, landscaper, pool maintenance company and pest control company to name a few. Because I live out of state, this was a tremendous time savings!
